Peel Roleplay

The Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare (ASPiH) is a not-for-profit membership Association comprising of members drawn from healthcare, education and patient safety backgrounds including researchers, learning technologists, workforce development or education managers, administrators, and healthcare staff and students.

In the 16 years since ASPiH was established in 2008, membership has grown and the association has evolved both in its activities designed to support members and in its relationship with other societies and commercial partners in the wider simulation community.

ASPiH have been very successful in bringing together a wide range of members that have a genuine interest in new and innovative methods of learning in the field of healthcare simulation, as well as optimising the use of existing simulation resources within their practice. Peel Roleplay, as leaders in the Healthcare Simulation sector, have long attended The ASPiH Conference and networked with ASPiH Members from across the UK. In recent years, the conference has been focused on equity, diversity, inclusion and sustainability and in 2024 the conference theme focused on transformative simulation, a significant simulation paradigm shift. In November 2024, Peel Roleplay took up the opportunity to have an exhibition stand at the ASPiH Conference in Edinburgh further strengthening our links with ASPiH.

So, when the ASPiH Corporate Council was established in 2024, and Peel Roleplay were invited to become members, joining the council as corporate partners was a really easy decision.

In setting up the ASPiH Corporate Council, ASPiH were keen to create a forum where collaboration with such an experienced community of simulation enthusiasts could network and share best practice. In joining The ASPiH Corporate Council, Peel Roleplays’ MD Jessica Wright and Account & Programme Manager Iain Wilkinson have seen opportunities that allow commercial partners and representatives from ASPiH to share knowledge about the simulation landscape in the UK and Ireland. Peel Roleplay, through membership, also have the opportunity  to ensure that the work activity of ASPiH is aligned with the current and future requirements of this community.

In joining the corporate council, Peel Roleplay MD Jessica Wright said:

“As one of the leading providers of Simulated Patients (SPs) to medical and healthcare clients across the UK, Peel Roleplay were delighted to be invited to and join the ASPiH Corporate Council in 2024. The ASPiH Corporate Council provides the perfect opportunity for organisations from across the world of healthcare simulation to collaborate, network and share best-practice. The strength of the council is that it brings together businesses with a wide variety of skills, knowledge and experience in the field of healthcare simulation that can only be useful to Peel Roleplay as we grow and develop as a business, while also helping grow the strength and influence of ASPiH as an organisation.”
