Peel Roleplay

On 17 September 2025, our Bookings Manager, Ioakim “Kimi” Brammer, attended this year’s Emergency Services Show at the NEC, Birmingham. The annual event brought together thousands of professionals from across the emergency services — police, fire & rescue, ambulance, search & rescue, and support sectors — to share innovation, ideas, and best practice.

Engaging with the Sector

Kimi spent the day connecting with emergency services decision makers, training leads, and suppliers. As Peel Roleplay’s lead on simulated patient bookings, he plays a central role in ensuring our services align with the needs of healthcare and emergency response training providers.

His attendance gave us an excellent opportunity to:

  • Showcase Peel Roleplay’s expertise in delivering realistic simulated patient training for high-pressure scenarios
  • Gain insight into the latest immersive simulation, VR/AR, and training tools being adopted in frontline services
  • Strengthen relationships with colleagues across the wider emergency and prehospital care community

Highlights from the Show

Kimi found the Immersive Training Demo Zone particularly impressive, offering a firsthand look at the advancements in clinical realism and technologies designed to support emergency preparedness. In addition, his attendance at CPD-accredited seminars provided valuable insights into sector priorities, innovation and procurement processes.

Reflections

“Attending ESS was an invaluable experience, offering insights into the future of emergency services training and simulation. I’m excited to bring back innovative ideas to Peel Roleplay, ensuring we continue to provide exceptional simulated patient training in emergency and prehospital settings.”

Looking Ahead

Kimi’s insights will inform our future work with clients in the emergency, ambulance, and healthcare education sectors. We look forward to building on the new contacts and knowledge gained at this year’s event to strengthen Peel Roleplay’s contribution to simulation in high-stakes environments.
